Operations and Logistic Manager

Harvey Norman is an established international retailer in Electronics, Computers, Furniture & Bedding with a prominent international presence in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, North Ireland, Slovenia, Croatia, Malaysia and Singapore. In support with our growing business needs, we are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated team player to join us!

The key responsibilities, but not limited to, are as follows:

  • Oversee the warehouse operations:
    • To develop and implement strategic plans for the company’s logistic operations, ensuring overall organizational goals and objectives are achieved.
    • To ensure all customers deliveries are executed promptly with high service standards
    • To lead and review warehouse operations, warehouse storage and layout plans to achieve efficiency, productivity and lower costs.
    • Maintain standards of workplace health & safety, cleanliness and security.
    • Liaise with suppliers and transport companies
  • Oversee the administration operations:
    • Responsible for the security of the Head offices, stores and warehouses including formulating, reviewing and recommending security service, including Cash-in-Transit security couriers and equipment vendors;
    • Review of General Insurance and submission of claims
    • Stores & Office Maintenance, including requisition of office furniture and equipment, general maintenance and repair of aircons, lightings etc.
    • Monitor the renewal of electrical installation licences, public entertainment licences, building façade licences etc
    • Oversee the stock take process and organize bi-annual stock take for all stores and warehouse;

Requirements:

  • A bachelor degree in Logistics or Business Management
  • Possess 7 years of warehouse operations experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational and leaderships skills
  • Preferably with SAP experience
