[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Jumbo Utility Hook as a free sample and wanted to use it to hold a larger gardening tool. I have a vinyl-like shed without shelves. I wanted to see if this could adhere to the side wall and hold the hedge clippers. It definitely has done that and is still sticking even after a week of continuous very hot temperatures. I will say that it's on the side of the shed that doesn't receive direct sunlight which might make a difference, because the small 3M wire hook I used on the side that does face the sun didn't hold and fell off when just holding a rag.

Essential Supply for the Classroom
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I serve middle school students with special needs. Our classroom is limited on storage space. With the use of Command Jumbo Hooks, I am able to designate wall space for students' coats, school bag hooks, and medical bags.
In addition, I use the interlocking picture hanging strips to hang posters, wall art, and recognition awards throughout the room. Command Hooks have completely changed how I display my classroom. More importantly, it allows me the ability to add creativity and character to our self-contained environment.

I thought if I should invest in buying these or they would complete waste but a what surprise.. they are holding it.. and holding it for more than 4 years.. simply superb.. Holds my heavy purse!
I bought this to replace another command hook that was metallic and fell down due to weight issues. I use this hook to hang my purse every day. Not only does it blend in to the wall color, it can hold the weight of my purse which can vary day to day. It's well worth the money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from 3M. We just finished cleaning our garage and rearranging some of our tools and extra large things. One of the items I wanted to hang was a small step stool. It was always in our way. This new product worked like magic. It holds a larger item so I don't have to worry it will fall and hit the car.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this to hold shelves in my bathroom. It only takes one. I have one on the shower that holds an "over the shower head" shelf (It would slip right off the shower head). It's stayed put for months! Another holds a wire shelf on the wall that holds jars and cans of things. I like that it holds weight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these 17004 (rated for 7.5 lbs) hooks a lot. I use them hidden in closets to hang bags, ironing boards, cords. If they're visible, I paint them so they don't look so utilitarian. I have several of these hooks painted classic bronze to match the ORB hardware in my bathroom. I have a couple that are painted chrome to match the 7"-blade chrome fan that's hanging on them.
The classic bronze-painted hooks are on my bathroom travertine walls. They serve as towel hooks. The adhesive hasn't failed yet (going on 6 years now). What usually fails is the plastic itself - i.e., the "hook" part breaks off after a few years. That's probably from people tugging down their towels. The hooks can hold 7.5 lbs but not when people keep tugging down on their towels.
I have one hook (actually, the wall back part only, not the outside hook part) holding up a 21" x 21" wall frame that's ~5 lbs. The frame has a horizontal length of braided wire at the back that you're supposed to hang on a nail/hook. I didn't want to drill a hole in my travertine tiles so I just used the wall/back part of this 17004 hook to hang the frame.
