Best camera for places without wifi
Bought this camera so I could install one on the end of the house where the wifi is unreliable. Easy installation to its accompanying solar panel. I did try several SIM cards but only the Telstra (Australia) branded one worked. Also requires 2.4GHz wifi so won’t connect to my google mesh which is dual band but mainly bought it for the LTE service anyway. Great picture quality. Overall great addition to my system.

Simplicity
I bought 3 of these cameras for the security of my workshop and they were set up in minutes and ready to keep my stuff safe and secure. Couldnt be happier with them. I Called customer service to ask about the wheather they can handle and had no waiting on hold. Got through straight away to a friendly staff member. Recommend

Good but could be better.
I bought a camera this month and there are still room for improvement in its performance. The charge is never 100% even with solar. The access to the camera is not always available in the app and app is not user friendly. The night vision is affected if camera is close to some object. The imagem is good though.

Not quite what I expected and not as easy
Had job and a half to set it up. The salesman told me it is a portable unit capable of monitoring several locations as needed. It took a lot longer to set up than I expected and it is not as easy to use as they claim. It took a long time for the camera to be discovered and accepted by my Bigpond modem. The CD card and sim card slots are fiddly to insert. There should be a simple method of deciding between the monitored function which comes at a cost and an option to record to the CD card. The icons on the bottom of the screen are fiddly and too small and too close together if you are using a smart phone. I was planning to expand the system, but at this stage I am just using the single camera and considering other options before I decide to stick with Arlo. The battery life seems good, but I misplaced the magnetic charger which made the camera un- operational as I had no other means of recharging the battery. The optional recharging dock will be on my shopping list if I stick with Arlo or perhaps a more common USB charging point could be installed into the camera case.

Portable
This unit was simple to setup and runs well as independent unit. Would be more unified if supported Apple HomeKit Secure Video.
