Excellent Sound Quality and Noise Cancelling
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Linkbuds S are a great pair of ear buds.
They're light and comfortable and feel far more secure in my ears than other buds I have owned.
The sound quality is excellent. The noise cancelling feature is superb too, as is the ambient mode.
All calls I made using these buds were clear and I had no problem connecting them to different devices. The Sony Headphones App was great to use with these as it lets you change the sound settings of your headphones and also lets you check the battery levels in each ear bud and the charging case too!
The charging case is well designed and great for travel.

DO NOT RECOMMEND
So incredibly disappointed with this product. First off, the multipoint connection - it does not automatically have this and you have to download their app and a firmware add-on to get multi-point functionality. Even with the firmware added, it works horrendously. If my laptop and my phone are both connected - even if my phone is the first priority and is actively playing something - the headphones will not play any sound until I disconnect them from the laptop. And finally, one headphone has suddenly stopped holding its charge. Unfortunately they are now outside the 1 year warranty, so I have spent a lot of money on a flimsy product that lasted me less than 2 years. Avoid!!

Great sound, but seriously flawed ear buds.
I bought these ear buds about a year and a half ago, I would expect at least 2 years of solid reliable use from them, however after the 1 year mark they began to malfunction. Initially the left earbud battery would only last an hour or two, before I realised the magnet in the charging case was interfering with the recharging. If you have the AI assistant activated, this also reduces the battery life massively. Soon after managing to rectify this somewhat, I encountered the dreaded 'wind noise' issue with the right ear bud, meaning I can no longer use ambient sound mode. This seems to be a widespread issue with these buds and Sony will not fix after the years warranty. Beware if you plan to keep the ear buds for more than a year.

Loved Sony products until received these
Been using Sony products for years have Xm3 for over 4 years no issues whatsoever, have sound bar as well quality unmatched. Had numerous other sony headphones But then it comes to these feel let down and disappointed. First two weeks it was great. Until battery started to drain unevenly and one of the earbuds bus dies faster even boths beenimg used as same time. Had tu replacement then thought it was one one off. New pair of linkbuds same issue starting to appear. Didn't around found out it know issues with sony earbuds that they drain unevenly to fast. Otherwise would love these but it just to unreasonable.

Long term review
The sound quality is decent considering these headphones have a different design than the rest of them. The features are good and work well and regularly get updated with new stuff. The update process is a nightmare on iOS tho. The major problem is the battery life and the repairability of these headphones. Removing or replacing the battery means a total destruction. I don't understand why Sony markets these as "eco-friendly" "recycled packaging" "recycled plastic", but they don't talk about the poor repairability. Mostly greenwashing in order to cut costs and deliver a poor product and a poor unboxing experience because everything is recycled. Reusing is better than recycling Sony!

Great all-round!
Got these recently after reading/watching several reviews - I was impressed by how small the case is and how light it is, along with the buds themselves. They block a lot of noise passively and the ANC really performs well, not needing much volume to block it completely.
On first try, I used these for approximately 3 hours with no ear fatigue at all, which was great. The product also has a nice matte feel, but I am definitely in the market for a protective case as I will have these on the go. I'm yet to experience any scenarios where these have slipped out of my ears and the side-profile is very low.
The app is OK, but not user friendly enough in a way that's streamlined. This would be my only drawback although this is a separate part of the product itself in my opinion.

This headset is the real flagship Sony wireless hi fi streaming device. The wf 1000xm4 I returned as 1 so uncomfortable in the ear after 10 minutes use and 2 the major fault of battery drain in the right channel. Sony should withdraw them and list these linkBuds S as the real flagship ind in leading Bluetooth phones. My only observation is change the LDAC codec to AAC ...as the former drains the battery in 3.5 hours. AAC or SCB.. turn off ANC if not needed and DSEE....as it doesn't affect the sound quality... and the headset will last for 7 hours. But these are the true flagship Sony phones Don't bother buying the WF 1000xm4...you will be disappointed.

The most comfortable ear pods I’ve owned
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is really nicely packaged in recyclable material which is a great start.
I’ve struggled with ear pods in the past but these fit a treat & stay in place too. The sound & sound controls are brilliant ~ work extremely well with phone calls and music all of which is crisp and clear. The 360 Reality Audio is amazing. The noise cancelling technology is also 1st rate.
I’ve used these for 3-4 hours at a time with no problems at all, the battery life seems excellent too. The supplied charging cable is too short though.
