Rated 2 out of 5 by from 24 hour clock ! Really only a 24 hour clock . Option would be appreciated or say it on the box 24 hour clock only. I wouldn’t recommend this product for that reason alone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great Would definitely liked to have known it was only in 24hr format. Certainly this would have been a deal breaker for me. It's not dimmable and literally illuminates the entire room with an eerie green glow. Pretty complicated - and I'm quite good at tech, there's absolutely no chance of my tech challenged husband being able to set the alarm for this. Even the lowest sound is still quite loud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact unit with bright display numerals My previous Philips clock radio lasted well over 10 years, so I had no hesitation in buying another one. Clock radio has a decent sound for such a small device. Alarms are easy to program in. The clock display is clear at night without being dazzling. Uses 2 AAA batteries for back-up, which are cheaper and easily available.

It's smaller than indicated (no surprise) but it feels cheaper than a Philips product should,and most disappointingly one of the buttons ceased with it's dual functioning and now does only one thing (increasing the volume) but not the other (selecting 2nd alarm input time) effectively rendering the second alarm function unusable. Yes I could try to use the guarantee, explain everything however many times to someone who doesn't believe you and passes you on to the next lot, or I can just not waste any more time on this....sad.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Total rubbish Clock and alarm work well. Despite several attempts at reading the instructions I have failed to manage to get the radio to store preset stations. Also if I move the unit it resets itself. A total waste of my money and efforts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok clock radio but some flaws Once you know how to use it, it is relatively easy to use, but you need to download the full user manual for instructions. The quick start guide it comes with is not easy to understand. I like the 10 preset stations and double alarm, nice shape and size. But the lowest volume is not low enough which is important for those wanting to drift off to sleep listening to the radio. Battery backup is helpful especially as the power cord can easily come out of the back if you move it (I have taped mine in to stop this). Overall, an ok clock radio.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No 12 hour option I seriously don't know anyone who keeps time using a 24 hour clock, who are not in the armed forces or the like. Lovely looking clock, lovely soft alarm, lovely green light...but no way to make it 12 hour. You really should put it on the packaging, as I drove 40 minutes to get it and now have to take it back.
